I forgot to thank you for your tip about the airport before we left. We are back now and I'm still recovering from my jet lag. My friend called me while we were still at Heathrow and told me that she was only allowed to park in the long stay car park, so we ended up taking the bus to the Haymarket Station and she picked us up there. If she had come in she would have had to park in the long stay parking lot, then take a shuttle to the terminal to meet us and we would have to shuttle back to her car. Didn't seem worth it. Other than that, it all went smoothly. And as you said in your first post to this thread, it definitely is "god's country." Beautiful, no matter the weather.
