Off to Paris!

Over the past several months I've asked several questions (to which I received lots of excellent answers) about our upcoming trip to France -- but mostly I've just read the forum obsessively, day after day, making notes and cross-referencing and trying to soak up as much as I could. Now it's time to go! We leave tomorrow for Paris, Normandy, Brittany, and Paris again. Thanks to all of you who have unknowingly helped us plan our wonderful trip! I will do a report when we return. A bientot!!

Bon voyage. Bon appetit.

I hope you have a great trip. Sometimes you can plan TOO MUCH. Life is always unpredictable and travel can be especially so, as you know. Expecting the unexpected always makes the tough moments a little easier, and the good moments even better.

We're going to Paris and France a week after you. So may we all have a safe and wonderful journey.

try the Calvados of Normandy, and the BenédictineIyou can see the museum in Fécamp) so far superior to what is imported. The Camembet cheese and the Pont l'Eveque will also amaze you how much better it tastes. The Belon oysters of Brittany, yhe crepes will make you wonder why they order them in Paris!!!The grilled oyster I love because in my area the lobsters are steaned or boiled and when grilled, yuk!
