Off to Italy -- Right Now!
 

We leave for Philadelphia airport in half an hour. Pick up the car tomorrow morning in Rome, drive to just outside Assisi for a week; then a night in Verona, a week in Venice, and 3+ days in Rome. Woo-eee!! Thanks to all of you wonderful Fodorites for answering questions, sharing expertise, and just being enthusiastic. Will do a trip report when we get back. Ciao!
