Off to Croatia
 

Because of the intriguing posts on this board I am leaving tomorrow for what I hope is a wonderful trip to Croatia with a 3 day wrap up in Rome. I'm not sure I would have ever thought of going to Croatia otherwise. Thanks for opening my eyes to such a groovy place.

I'd like to thank all the folks on this board who helped me with logistics and accomodation options. I don't think I've ever taken such a well planned trip!

I will make an attempt at a trip report when I return on the 20th.

It will be nice (?) to do a Fodor detox while I'm gone!

Offwego, I leave exactly a week after you (next Wed) and was inspired to make this destination choice for exactly the same reasons as you - the enthusiasm from the many Craotia fans on this board. I'm grateful to them too. I'll be back on the 25th (after side trips to London, Wales and Budapest) and hope to follow up with a report as well.

I was there in early June and I loved it.
The scenery was beautiful and the people were some of the nicest anywhere.
