Mostly interested in sightseeing. Plan to try the CT hike but not sure I'm up for doing that for two weeks.
Are there a lot of mountain ranges near the lakes? Not that I want to climb them, maybe if they have gondolas going, that would be great.
I got a recommendation elsewhere to possibly go to Piedmont after Liguria. Aosta does sound interesting and I'd be up for seeing Mont Blanc but probably don't have time to this trip if I'm going to the lakes.
