O'Douls anyone?

Here's a trivia question. Is non-alcoholic O'Douls beer available in Ireland pubs? A friend with whom we will be traveling has just been told by his doctor to not drink. I'm planning to nurse my Guinness and enjoy the pub scene.

Also, what IS the best beer?

Bill in Missouri
Kaliber is the non-alcoholic made by Guinness for the states, not sure if they have it in Pubs in Ireland or not (never thought to look!!!) But they have other drinks as well!!!

Hello Bill,
Non-alcoholic beer in Ireland? That's not trivia, that's blasphemy! Actually, I'm sure they have it but no true Irishman would admit it, not in my family, anyway. Everyone knows Guinness is the best medicine. Lots of people go to pubs in Ireland who don't drink beer, me included.
Have a grand time.
A.M.

Bill,
Kailber is available in the vast majority of bars, the alternative to non-alcoholic beer is juice and soft drinks etc,

Hope this helps,

Cathy

Bill - you can't get O'Douls here in Ireland, you can buy Kailber but you wounldn't want to. The best option is the non alcohol version of the German beer Becks.
