Odd Question - Amalfi or Santorini?
 

I am in the process of planning a 10 day trip to either the Amalfi Coast/Capri or Santorini for our 10th Anniversay. We're looking to base ourself in one location and we've decided to try and travel on a budget. This will be a new experience for us as we travel often but with little concern for a budget. Not bragging - just where we choose to spend our money. However, we're significantly remodeling our house this year and that takes priority (that's A WHOLE OTHER STORY!)

We were in Santorini for our honeymoon 10- years ago - so we would have very fond memories and would stay at Hotel Atlantis. We went to Italy last year, but did not make it to the Amalfi coast. So I would like to solicit opinions on people who have either been to both, been to Santorini more recently or anyone who's been to Amalfi. As always, thanks for the input.
