Odd question about comfort stops in Bavaria

Germany's lack of cooperation with Google Street View is killing me! I'm doing some very detailed advance planning for a visit to Bavaria this spring (with some friends who can only be described as weak of bladder).

Thus, trying to determine if there are restrooms available at:

• The parking area for Wies Church, north of Füssen.

• Any rest stop on the autobahn between Munich and Garmisch. (I think there is a rest stop near Icking but I can't determine if there are any facilities at all there, be they bar-restaurant-gas station-cafe-toilets.)

Normally Google Street View would tell me, but not in Germany.

Anyone?

There are toilet facilities in the Gasthaus (Restaurant) at the Wies. It's right next to the parking area. There might also be some public facilities, but I have never used them. The Rasthaus Icking has the regular toilet facilities one finds in Rasthaeuser (Autobahn service areas), but most likely there is a entrance gate charge. So have some Euro change along. These gated toilets are usually well maintained and clean

There is one large Raststätte (rest stops) on the A95 so your weak-of-bladder friends should be fine.

About 40mins out of Munich is Raststätte Hohenrain, between exits for Schaeftlarn and Wolfratshausen. Think that's the one treplow is referring to. The toilets at the larger stops are Euro 0.70 and as mentioned you often find the ticket machine at the entrance, no longer the tolet attendant with the white lab coat (!). Keep the ticket and redeem in the shop for Euro 0.50 off your goods.

And, as I remember, you can't redeem the ticket for gas. Beer is OK though!!!

As I found out recently you can redeem more than 1 at a time on coffee etc. So you could save a euro after 2 rest stops.

You might be able to do it in only one stop as many people don't take their voucher.

Also, not all places will let you sue more than one at a time. On two or three occasions I have been told that I can only use one at a time.

You guys are great! What a wealth of information. Many thanks for your thoroughness – and my bladder-challenged friends thank you from the bottom of their ... hearts.
