Octopus Travel

Has anyone used Octopus Travel (octopustravel.com) for hotel reservations? Are they reliable?

I've used them a few times and they were fine. I've always found what I want at the right price there. I like the way the prices are all inclusive of local taxes etc (which a lot of other sites hide away until you click to finalise your booking).

I used them once, last summer and it was fine. I was a little worried because you have to pay upfront but everything worked out fine and their rate was better than the hotel's own rate on the internet. I'd use them again.

I booked a hotel in Milan this past October through Octopus Travel. Everything went smoothly. I'd use them again.

I have used Octopus in the past and found a couple of things I really like. 1. Like Nona said, their prices are all inclusive of taxes and in my local currency. 2 They usually have pictures of thehotels and the rooms.

I have found them to be a little higher that some ofther websites for I continue to shop even after looking at Octopus.
