October daylight Amalfi Coast
Does anyone know the approximate hours of daylight in Italy during the second half of October? In planning my trip to the Amalfi Coast I am realizing that the experience might be significantly affected by what I could see, when. I don't mind getting up early, and I don't want to miss landscapes by traveling in the dark!

Try this, you can select a city or enter any lat/longitude:

http://www.srrb.noaa.gov/highlights/...e/sunrise.html

According to weatherunderground.com the sun set at approximately at 6:08 pm on October 25, 2001 in Naples, Italy. Sunrise was 7:25 am. Sounds as of you have more than enough time during the day to sightsee and at night enjoy a good, LEISURELY meal and then a good night's rest.

Thanks so much for the web references. I knew the info must be out there, but I couldn't think what to look under that wouldn't overwhelm me with irrelevent sidetracks.
