The NYT has an article posted on its website about the new "trend" among Parisian chefs to open more casual restaurants. If this had already been posted, my apologies.

I posted it but it's such a good piece to repeat and for me to add that the Comptoir is closed until June.

i just called le comptoir for may reservations and was told the same thing. what other tables are that hot? i better get moving!
