Thank you

Great report, Aduchamp! So much of what you saw mirrors our perspective of Paris, including your suggestion of Chartres Blue on some of the Pei windows. Great idea!

Fauchon has, indeed, changed. I think it's gotten much smaller.

We had Michael Osman take us on a literary tour of Monparnasse that included the cemetary. I agree with you that it is pourly marked, so having him was wonderful, as he knew it so well. Sometimes a good tour guide can be indispensible in saving you time!

Thanks again for the wonderful report.

Thank you MelJ.

Yes, a guide at Montparnasse cemetery would have been extremely helpful.

And I am very glad you liked the suggestion regarding the Louvre.

Reviving this wonderful trip report for new travelers. (I was AWOL from Fodor's in July of '08 and sadly missed it, too.)

Good stuff, guy. Just really good stuff.

Plus, your references to Duchamp remind me of discussions I've had with my daughter about him. She's never quiet convinced me to appreciate his deliberately antagonizing style, but you may have just found the right angle. I'm always a sucker for wry, dry wit. If it comes with a Brooklyn accent, all the better.

Thank you for resurrecting my trip rport and it isn't even Easter.
