Austrian from Vienna to NYC; Czech to Prague (sometimes operated as a Delta codeshare)

We went to Prague, Paris, and Vienna in April. We flew Czech Air to Prague (booked through Delta). Originally we were to leave from Vienna on Delta by way of Prague- changing to Czech Air back to JFK. Thank goodness we changed our itinerary and stayed on a few days extra. Our flight was changed leaving Vienna on Air France changing in France at DeGaul Airport to a Delta Carrier. The Czech Air flight from JFK to Prague was the flight from hell. Airplane had no air circulation in our part of the cabin and the service sucked. Both my husband and I and several passengers in our area were not feeling well from the heat. I'd never fly Czech Air again- although I'd go back to Prague in a second. We met a woman in Prague who said that she went from JFK to Prague on KLM via Frankfurt (I believe)...anyway.

I have read other posters favorable reviews of Czech Air on this site, however, I thought there service was the pits.
