NYC airports closed again
 

Both airports have been closed again as two men dressed in pilot uniforms tried to enter Kennedy airport. They have been detained and are being questioned. <BR>Vice President Cheney has been taken from Washington and moved to Camp David as a precation. <BR>The Capitol was evacuated today. Cleared and everyone went back to work. <BR>Dozens and dozens of bomb threats. Airports cleared around the country. <BR>How frightening this continues to be.

There is enough steel on the ground to build 20 Eiffel Towers... <BR>The list of missing is over 5000. <BR>People are rescued, albeit slowly and rarely. <BR>The American spirit continues.

Does anyone have even a tablespoon of confidence in the FAA? Looks like they tried to close their eyes to the security problems and open the airports before they had a firm handle on things.

Unfortunately when events such as Tueday's tragedies occur, there are almost inevitably "copy-cat" versions, both fake & real (meaning threats) that ensue in the aftermath. We have no choice but to take things one day at a time. <BR>BC
