NWA discount coupon

My parents are planning on traveling to London in July for their 50th marriage anniversary. Would anyone have a couple of NWA discount coupon that are not goingt o be used?

I really appreciate all the help!

Doesn't the fine print on them say they're not transferable?

rex Jun 14th, 2005 07:25 PM

Well, actually, no - - there are no restrictions on the ones I know about. In fact, you don't even need the physical coupon - - just the serial number from it.

I wonder if flyertalk.com could help?

Best wishes,

As I understand the NWA discount coupons they may not be sold or bartered. But one can "hand" them to someone else if they are not receiving monetary value for the coupon.

rits21, I do not believe that NWA has any coupons for July. I believe the coupons show the departure dates sometime in mid Sept.

But may I suggest you go onto www.nwa.com and see if you can find some kind of bargain for your parents. Good wishes to your parents. A 50th wedding anniversary is very special.

Check out EBAY. People often sell beautiful envelopes, with coupons inside.

LoveItaly, I tried looking online but had no luck. Thanks for the suggestion!

But, I do have a question.. The e-certs that expire in September can be used only for travel in September? Or anytime before 30th September?

Thanks!! :)

Hey Rex!

I checked out the flyertalk website and the people dont seem to be very friendly..

Any suggestions?

It was just a guess. I only "discovered" flyertalk yesterday.

I have been reading and posting on Flyertalk for about 2 years. Many of the posters there are road warriors who fly hundreds of thousands of miles a year and know the FF programs inside out.

What you don't want to do are:

- Ask "entry-level" questions before using the search feature. It might be a new question for you, but people may have answered the same dozens of times.

- Post on the wrong forum. For question about a specific airline, post in that airlines' forum - not Milesbuzz or other general forum.

- Post topics that is "news" to you. Chances are, they are really really old news for everybody on the board, except yourself.

I can totally relate rkkwan.. Thats the reason why I think if I post for NWA coupons there, they will just trash me! ;) haha

Anyone has any coupons they can part with? Please!!

There's a "Coupon Connection" forum at Flyertalk.com. [I believe one has to register at Flyertalk and sign in before you can read/post there.] No cash transaction, but people can trade coupons there. I don't know the etiquette of that particular forum, so please read all the stickies before posting there.

rkkwan.. I registered at Flyertalk.com but I cant see the Coupon Connection even when I am logged in.. Maybe its not for new people! :(

It should be available. It's under the "Miles & Points" section near the top. It's forum ID is 373 if you want to type that in yourself in the URL window. Go to another forum, and then change the ID to 373.

On their forum, you can subscribe the boards you read often and they'll show on "MyFlyerTalk".

I did some research on Coupon Connection on Flyertalk and found out that Coupon Connection is invisible until you have 100 posts on FT. I just became a member on Flyertalk.. So I guess I am way off the 100 post mark? :( If you have permission to see that forum.. Are there any coupon posted right now?

Thanks!

Hmmm... I wonder if you will get busted, adding to your posting total by simply "topping" (it could be a little less conspicuous if you said something patronizing like "Very interesting! I think I will be able to use this right away!" LOL!)
