Can someone please tell me if the U Bahn in Nuremberg runs on Sundays? If not, about how long would it take to travel by taxi from the train station to the airport, and about how much would it cost? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Yes, it runs on Sundays with trains from the mail rail station to the airport approximately every ten minutes.

A taxi ride will take 15 min and will cost about 15 Euros.

From what station do you want to start your trip? From the Hauptbahnhof, the U-bahn runs every 10 minutes (at least on Apr 13), takes 12 minutes, and costs €1,90. The website is at www.vgn.de (has English).

That's the U2 line. On Sundays it leaves the Hbf every 20 minute from 5:07 until 7:47, then every 10 minutes from 7:59 until 39 minutes past midnight. Last train is at 51 minutes past midnight. The schedule can be found at www.vgn.de/efa9/efa97/roccas/TTB/0000060a2.pdf.
