Nuremberg - Fine dining question

Can anyone suggest a restaurant in Nuremburg that is upscale? Maybe not so ...
wurst and beer, but maybe chicken, fish, vegetables??
I'm actually asking for my German sister-in-law who doesn't know of any and she'll be there next week!

More or less all restaurants in German cities have chicken, vegetables and fish on their menus.

dunka Aramis, now if I could only read German - osmosis hasn't set in yet just coz my DH is German...

quokka ... that has not been my experience...and my SIL is a vegetarian but her uncle isn't...

...how helpful. Sheesh.

Well, we're discussing a city, not some country inns, and we're discussing restaurants not pubs. More and more clients ask for vegetarian dishes, and most restaurants offer them because they want those guests and their money.

All German restaurants are required to put up their menu on the outside, so it's easy to check what they are having and how much it is before actually entering. On most menus you'll find a section titled "Vegetarische Gerichte". Your SIL is German? So she should know how to read a restaurant menu.

In a city like Nürnberg, this cannot be such a big problem. The city centre is full of restaurants, so it's walking around a bit and checking a menu or two.
By the way, I am German, Suzie. I've always found the food I wanted in any city.
