Number 11 B&B, Brugge
We have finally decided on Number 11 B&B in Brugge for 3 nights in October. We will be taking all 3 rooms available (except for the suite) in the house. Has anyone been there? Any comments one way or another? Distance to the center of town and the square? Is parking a problem?

We stayed at No 11 in '03 in May, and loved it! The hospitality was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our short visit to Bruges. The location was great--we especially enjoyed walking to the market square to see and enjoy the fabulous array of foods. I'm remembering about a 5 minute walk to the square. Have a great trip. We took the train from Brussels, so didn't have a car, can't help with that.

I don't think there's a lot of (free) parking space in the immediate neighbourhood of Peerdenstraat, unless Number 11 have private garages for their clients. Cars are not very welcome in the city centre, that's why parking is rather problematic.
There are some giant parking garages just outside the very centre and there are two parking garages within the centre, 'Pandreitje' and 'Biekorf' at less than 10 min. walk from Number 11.
Your hosts will surely know what is most convenient for you.

You are lucky! You have booked the absolutely best B&B in Brugge. You will love it. The location could not be better, the interior is lovely, the hosts are wonderful. I know Brugge very well and have stayed at the Pand Hotel, at Hotel Die Swaene and at Hotel Orangerie . These are all very nice first class hotels, but -believe me- Number 11 is amazing!
