Now what's wrong with this site?
 

I love you guys at Fodors deeply; but please fix the new bug. For about a week half the times I'm typing, when I try to correct an error by using the delete or back space keys the page just melts and disappears. I have worked out hown to retrieve it (by using the forward button), but it is totally frustrating not to mention timeconsuming. <BR> <BR>And tonight I've posted the same message about a dozen times. It WAS long, but even when I had it broken into bite size chunks, it wouldn't go. That's taken almost an hour, and I've now given up. Anyone else who wants to know what I'm recommending Micki does her first two days in Edinburgh will have to wait for the made for TV movie

Sheila, <BR> <BR>A tip...when composing a long message use your word processing application (i.e, Microsoft Word) and type it in a document. Then highlight, copy, and paste your document onto the Fodor's posting. That way when it's lost on this site you'll have the copy and can copy and paste again. <BR> <BR>Adrienne <BR>

Sheila, the problem is most certainly with your computer, not with Fodor's. <BR> <BR>When you type, backspace, delete, etc. on your computer the site you're working with doesn't see your work until you send it. <BR> <BR>My guess is you've a problem with your browser, operating system, or keyboard. <BR> <BR>Ed

OK. Only problem is this is an IBM laptop with Netscape; the one at home is a desktop (can't remember the make)with Explorer.

I've had the same problem. I'm using a Dell laptop. I guess it has to be our computer, can't see how it could be the site ???

I use Netscape ALWAYS and no probs, the only one I have is that it doesnt remember my name or email address and I get bored typing it in again <BR> <BR>Netscape reads and allows replies to fodors fine... <BR> <BR>Kav

I've noticed that my posts can't be searched once they are posted. It's very very annoying and Fodors has yet to respond to my email about this problem. <BR> <BR>It would be nice if your email notifier worked when someone responds to my posts as well. <BR> <BR>C'mon Fodors.
