November 1st-4th Italy or Spain from Paris by train?

I'll arrive in Paris on Oct-31 and plan to visit either Italy or Spain by train from CDG airport.

I heard that it is going to be cold and wet in Italy on the first week of Nov. Some advised me to go to Bacelona instead. Please advise and suggest what to do either in Italy or Spain by train.

Thanks in advanced!

Barcelona is basically a whole day by train from Paris. If you have to be back in Paris on the 4th, you have two full days on the train for two on the ground. Fly or skip it.

Also, no one can tell you with any reliability what the weather will be in a place as large as Italy three weeks out.

Hi Ackislander,
Thanks for quick response!
I see your point. Train is out.
How much to fly to and fro Paris-Barcelona vs Paris-Rome on budget airlines?
With the uncertainty on weather early November, what is the best bet on Rome and Barcelona?

Those Vueling flights from CDG are NOT direct as I recall. I think for a direct flight on Vueling you might have to fly from Orly. Easyjet flights are direct but check on the timings; the earliest leaves at 7:30 AM; the next is at 1:55 PM..would you be better off on the train?
