Norwegian Fjords CRUISE?

They are offering a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords for 1 week with Celebrity Cruises in August. Wondering if it's a good cruise, has anyone done this before?
The scenery in the pictures looks really awesome, but we've only taken Caribbean cruises in the past and not sure how this "european" cruise would be. Appreciate your feedbacks... Thanks...

who is the operator?
i used to work for Norwegian Coastal Voyage in London - they are the genuine workign ships stopping in every port up the coast.

The operator is Celebrity Cruise Lines.
I think many of the cruise lines are now offering this type of cruise.
Not sure if that's what you're asking?

For comparison, go to the web site of Bergen Lines. They operate the Hurtigruten, the working ships that go up and down Norway's coast, stopping at ports along the way. We made this voyage from Bergen all the way and had a marvelous time. Bergen Lines, at that time, arranged everything -- flights, hotels, railway from Oslo to Bergen, flight back to Oslo from Kirkenes. Highly recommend it.

Gail,

My husband and I will be taking a cruise that goes to the north of Norway( Honningsvag) and then down the western coast, going into several fjords. Our cruise is with Radisson Navigator. The scenery is supposed to be spectacular. Everybody I know that has done this type of cruise loves it.

Which Celebrity ship is doing the cruise? Do you know from where does it depart and where does it arrive?

cruiseluv-It's Celebrity Century ship.
I think that's probably one of the older ships. We've sailed Celebrity twice on the Celebrity Millenium series ships and they were great all around both times! We'd like to try another cruise line for a change. This voyage is round trip from Amsterdam in August, but the only cabins left are very expensive (suites, etc). I'm thinking of planning the trip for next year...
