Norway road trips

Dear all, I am planning for a honeymoon trip in Norway, and would prefer to do a few short road-trips in mid October. Hopefully we can catch the aurora as well. I've read through many write-ups and responses but can anyone confirm if it is feasible (read easy and cheap) to drive to the following locations?

1. Departing from Tromso to Lofoten and Senja (3 full days)
2. Departing from Bergen and do the atlantic ocean road (3 full days)

The reviews I read has many ferry trips; I assume I will drive my car on the ferry (are they generally expensive?), and is 3 days each sufficient? We will take return flights from Bergen to Tromso.

Much appreciated any help. Thanks!

My bad, what I meant to ask was : will I be able to make the full journey above solely by driving (hypothetically staying in the car 24x7)?

From my time in Norway I know that some roads are closed in autumn ahead of the winter weather. And by that I mean those roads are often gated and locked so you cannot pass. Here is a website which may help you find out if your routes are affected:-

Wild camping is permitted in Norway provided you obey the rules. However you are on your honeymoon so why would you want to sleep in your car? Quite apart from where you intend to wash, or go to the loo. If you want to wild camp consider hiring a mobile home/camper van.

The official Norway tourist board website has lots of information on ferries, road tolls, including in Bergen, places to stay and so on.
Mid October is the start of winter normally and weather conditions can change suddenly. Have you driven in snow? Bergen will most likely be very wet, though you may be lucky and have a dry day. Further north you run the risk of snow.
