Norway - Oslo to Bergen to Balestrand to Geiranger ?

Planning trip to Norway in June this year and hoping to see the following places in about 4-5 days (after oslo)

Oslo to Bergen (via train & Flam railway
Bergen to Balestrand
Balestrand to Geiranger / Alesund
Geiranger back to Oslo (to connect to Stockholm)

Is this feasible in 4-5 days ?

I realise we will be pushed for time and wandering whether it would best be done by a tour, coach or hire car ??

Is Geiranger / Alesund worth the trip or would I see as much or more from Bergen and Balestrand in the limited time. Would also like to fit in a summer ski in stryn if possible.

Basically trying to see the most spectacular fjords in minimum time !!

Thanks in advance

I'll start off by saying I've never been to Geiranger/Alesund, so my suggestion to drop it is based on the time constraints you have. Here's what I would suggest, based on our trip. Do the Norway in a Nutshell from Oslo to the Stalheim hotel, which is one of the stops after the cruise on the Njaerofjord. Spend the night at the Stalheim. The next morning take a bus/ferry to Balestrand from the Stalheim. Spend the night in Balestrand. The next morning take the ferry to Bergen from Balestrand. Spend a night or two in Bergen and then fly to Stockholm. Public transportation in Norway is incredibly good. Buses, ferries, trains are all coordinated. We enjoyed not having a car. However, if you're dragging a lot of luggage it may not be as pleasant. We stored our luggage and did the wander around the fjords (including also the Herdangenfjord (sp)) with only duffel bags. We reconnected with our business clothes before proceeding to Stockholm.
