Norway in a Nutshell - 1 day vs 2
 

Has anyone done NIN from Bergen to Oslo in 1 day vs. multiple days? The day seems VERY long and we get in late with no place for dinner. On the other hand, this gives us 2 full days in Oslo vs. 1 day and bit of a 2nd day. I am having a hard time with this tradeoff.

We did the one day, but from Oslo to Bergen. Yes it was a long day, but we loved it. We had no issues with finding a place to have dinner upon arrival that evening, FWIW. If you have the time though, I would opt for a 2 day trip just to enjoy it more.

It is a long day, but most of it is sitting watching the scenery go by. With its new museum and its old ones, Oslo deserves as much time as you can spare.
