Norway holiday locations

Hi everyone I'm planning on going on a trip to Norway in winter 2017, I want to visit Oslo, Bergen, a nice ski resort and maybe karasjok, i want to go for 30 days so have plenty of time to do everything, if you have any nice suggestions on places to stay or activities to do please let me know will be much appreciated, thanks
Kris :)

Possibly Voss for the skiing bit.

Are you intending to drive or use public transport? Some of the mountain passes get closed in winter due to snow.

Have you considered the Hurtigrouten, which is pricy but would make for an amazing trip, albeit a more coastal one.

I love Oslo. You should think about Bygdoy (Viking ship museum, Fram museum of polar exploration), Vigelandspark and the city centre museums and art galleries. Lots of good cafes and baking to warm up with.

Thank you so much you have been a big help! I'll look into those now :) I'm planning on catching public transport everywhere. Thanks for your help :)

Thank you :) I'm guessing there would be a place at voss I would be able to rent ski/snow boarding gear? And would you know a good time of year to go for a ski trip, I don't want to go and the weather be to full on I can't even go out :)

I would have thought you could rent kit, as it's one of Norway's main ski resorts, and has (if I recall correctly) more than one run. That said, I don't think its on the scale of, say, many of the alpine resorts, so unlikely to have a huge choice. I genuinely don't know what would be the best time for decent snowfall, but they are bound to have a website with all this info on tbh.

First one I pulled up on Google..

PS Voss also has a railway station so that would fit in with your public transport plans.

There are seaplanes that land on the lake too, though that might be a non-starter in winter.

I think Geilo is better than Voss, and also look in the area around Lillehammer.
