Northern Spain, how many days?
Hi,
I am planning a trip to the northern part of Spain in one month. Can I do it from Cataluna to Asturias or Cantabria in 15 days? I was in Barcelona before so I am not going to spend to much time there. I'll depart from Barcelona and try to go back there too. Any suggestions?

15 days is hardly enough time to explore Asturias and/or Cantabria, let alone Catalunya, Aragon, Navarra, La Rioja, País Vasco and Castilla-León. We spent 10 days in Asturias this past summer and another two weeks in Cantabria in November and only managed to cover a small area. There is just too much to see and do in such a short time.
I'd allow a little more time.

You don’t give us much information….
What are your interests?
When are you going?
How are you travelling? (Around the area you wish to visit and between there and BCN).
What plans have you made so far?
Answer these and I can propose more ideas.

Thanks to both of you for your response! We are planning to go by the end of July, and we want to rent a car in BCN to spend time exploring countryside of that part of Spain. The issue here is how to do that. I am very interested in visit some nice places like San Sebastian and Pamplona, also have good time exploring La Rioja (wine tasting tour, if it's possible) and other communities, then go back to BCN. I am not sure which will be the best route to do it in 15 days? Do u recommend to do it by car?

SS is hardly the countryside around BCN it is nearly 600 km (350 miles) by road. 6 hours driving, maybe more if you get lost or want to stop to eat.
Doing the trip by car is my personal favourite way. It gives you flexibility to stop when you see something interesting along the way. However if you are not driven in Europe before maybe it would be too much of a stain for you and relaxing using public transport is the better option.
Finding what to see is dependant on your interests. Maybe do a search here or look at a good guidebook and ask for confirmations about places that really interest you.
