Northern Lights in Tromsø – tips?
Hello! My dream is to see the Northern Lights. In February I will be flying to Tromsø. Is it worth renting a car, or is public transport good enough? Where are the best places to go to watch the aurora? I will be grateful for any tips. Thank you! 🌌

The bus is very comfortable and has a bathroom. At some point during the tour they will serve coffee, tea, or cocoa with chocolate chip cookies. Tickets sell out fast so buy in advance. I also did a daytime fjord tour with this company and it was lovely. As for getting around Tromso, it's not a big city and quite walkable. If you want to go to the Arctic Cathedral or the mountain top, use the city bus. I absolutely love Tromso and will answer any further questions you have. https://book.northernshotstours.com/en/todo |
