Northern Italy Itinerary - Are we crazy?

Using airline miles for the flight which forced us to fly into Venice and out of Milan. We have already been to venice so are just spending the night, leaving us with the following itinerary. Is this too much? Are we crazy, or is this doable?

8/27 - Arrive Venice in AM spend the night at Palazzo Odoni

8/28 - To Bellagio for 2 nights - Rent car or take train??
8/29 - Bellagio staying at Hotel Bellagio

8/30 - To Piemonte - Drive (if train to Bellagio, where is best place to pick up rental car?) staying 2 nights at Hotel Castello di Sinio, located between Alba & Barolo
8/31 - Piemonte

9/1 - Cinque Terre - Staying 2 nights in Monterosso at Albergo Margherita
9/2 - Cinque Terre

9/3 - Cinque Terre to Milan to spend night in Milan prior to daparture flight on 9/4 at 2:40pm (is it feasible to spend this night in Cinque Terre and make it to Milan for a 2:40pm flight on 9/4 - if so, what's the best way?)

9/4 - Depart from Milan

Appreciate any help or input! Looking forward to the trip!

Nice trip---I like it.
I would get the car as you leave Venice and keep it the entire time. It is easy to park in Monterosso. Have fun !

Beware that the autostrada between Venice and Bellagio is filled with 18 wheelers. It's a terrible drive. I did it in reverse 3 years ago - from Como - and it was not at all enjoyable. I'd train it from Venice because you don't really need a car in Bellagio.

I know you can pick up a rental car in Como. There may be a place in Varenna but I'm not sure.

Thanks for the responses! Glad to hear that is seems like we are not totally crazy. :-)

Where are you flying from? I'd be tempted to train to Lake Como immediately on arrival at Venice. (You could be there well before dinner.) That would give you two full days on the lake.
