Northern Ireland ideas

Hi,

We are traveling to Ireland Oct 20-29th, flying into Dublin and leaving from Shannon. We're totally open to suggestions, but thinking we'd like to explore the north. We plan on staying two nights in Dublin, then setting out. Definitely want to see Giants Causeway and Belfast, but open to anything else. Any suggestions?

We've been to Ireland before and have visited Killarney, Kilkenny, Kinsale, Doolin, Galway, and Dublin.

What kinds of things interest you? There is a lot of beautiful countryside in rural Northern Ireland, and great trails for walking or hiking. The lakelands of Fermanagh are beautiful and have boating opportunities. There are prehistoric sites, historic villages, caverns, stately homes, and much else.

When in Belfast you MUST go to the Titanic Exhibition! We were there in 2015 and just loved it. Giants Causeway is neat and hopefully the end of October it won't be too busy.

the area around GlenArm is beautiful - all along the coast from Dunluce to Belfast via the Arms. The rope bridge may be down at that time - it's seasonal.
Derry with its wall and recent Troubles history is worth seeing.
Northern Ireland has brilliant scenery .
Belfast has a museum showing the history of the linen industry .
Downpatrick is another historic place to visit
