Thanks a lot!! Will come up with a plan as son as I know how many days I can spare.
Is 3-4 days good enough for Picos europa, to get a good taste if the mountains, any recommendations for tours? Or can do it on my own(with public transportation)?

I have traveled through north coastal Spain, from Irun to Tui. It took 18 days by car in total. At first, I thought I could drive through in 9 days, but the place turned to be so interesting. I stopped at Llanes and later the rest was finished in another 9 days.

I failed to get hotel rooms in Santander and La Coruña on the arrival day and encountered a long queue for a ropeway from Fuente Dé. Accommodation in this region is somewhat limited compared to other parts of Spain, so early reservations are recommended especially for weekends. For the ropeway, you should get the gate before a line started to get longer.

Good restaurants scattered along the route. But the eastern part was better. Note even the western part was better the other part of Spain.
Scenic coastal views also scattered away. The eastern part was easier to access. The western parts are the famous Rias. In the middle parts, most roads are off-coast, and beaches are hidden in a way.

It looks a lot like the countryside of southern Navarra leading to Burgos, on the Camino.
