North Germany: Friesland?Bremen-Hamburg-Lübeck?

Does anybody know some of these three cities (Bremen-Hamburg-Lübeck)? Which order would you set?
Any ideas about the cities near the North Sea Coast/Waddenmeer/Ost- and Nordfriesland?

Quite frankly the best parts of Germany are in the south. The northern area that you mentioned is(was) mostly industrial. Northern Germany is quite flat, where central and south are much more hilly and have (I think) much more to see. (I don't intend to insult anyone here, its just my opinion.)
Art
Hi haritz,

i know Hamburg and Lübeck. Hamburg is a big city and famous for boattours on the river "Alster", the night-club-area "Sankt Pauli", a big zoo "Hagenbecks Tierpark", musical-theatres, a flower-park "Planten und Blomen" and shopping.

Lübeck is smaller than Hamburg and very pretty. It has a big history, many old houses and churches. Lübeck is good for walking by your own. And its famous for "Marzipan", hmmmm
and has a nice shopping street too.

North of Lübeck, i recommended Eutin, Grömitz and the peninsula "Fehmarn".

If you tell me your interests i can give you special tips.

Excuse my bad english!

I looooove Lubeck!! I haven't been there in about 13 years, and it was on my first trip to Europe, but I remember it was a very pretty town, easy to walk around in, with a picturesque gate, and had a church with bells that had shattered in a WWII bombing raid and been left as is as a monument. Altogether a lovely place to spend some time in Northern Germany. You might also consider Kiel, although I'm biased, having been there during Kieler Woche which is in late June I think -- it was a big street party! Enjoy!

hamburg has its own charm, too, and a great nightlife. Evenmore, it could be a good base to visit both Bremen and Lübeck -even Expo'2000 is not quite far.

Am working on a trip from Goteborg, Sweeden into Germany with an automobile. Anyone have information on the Ferry from Sweeden to Germany as well places of interest in North Germany? Plan to go into Berlin. All tips appreciated.

Dear haritz
It is not true, that the south of germany is nicer than the north. Hamburg for example is the most beautiful city in germany, bremen is
indeed not so interesting, but Lübecks
old town is under Unesco preservation, sounds like it could be worth the trip
doesnt it? Have fun!
