Normandy and Paris with a brain cancer survivor

I have a friend who is a brain cancer survivor who has to be very careful with his diet and wants to go to Normandy and Paris. He has no physical limitations but some severe dietary limitations. Can anyone recommend a tour guide for the battlefields, restaurants and hotels

We need more information.

What are his dietary limitations?

Does he have mobility limitations?

I have had, sadly, all too much experience with brain cancer and none of the people had dietary limitations, so I am quite confused. Does it have to do with medication?

I am not sure but he told me he can't have any sugar. He is quite mobile he builds Log Homes in New England.

I think he is very careful of his diet and his wife asked me to find restaurants where they would be understanding to someone with dietary limitations

Well, you'll have to specify exactly what the dietary limitations are before anyone can help you. No sugar shouldn't be an issue - it's pretty easy to avoid that - but what else, if anything?

NO sugar??? Well that will be interesting. I think he has to say very specifically what he can't have and in writing in French. There is no way to tell you anything without that. How does he eat out in the US--and where?
