Normandy

A couple of questions:
1. Traveling from England to Nromandy - Does the Chunnel make a stop in Northern France -- or does it go right from England to Paris?
2. Travel from Normandy to Amsterdam -- would you rent a car or take a train?

I'm looking for the same information. Also would like to know if it is cheaper to fly into Paris or to use the Chunnel? How long does it take to drive from Paris to Normandy?

Where in Normandy are you going, adamsparks? It's a big area, so driving times would vary considerably.

1. Some Eurostar trains from London to Paris stop at Ashford, some at Calais, and still others at Lille.

2. Train.

You can hop catamarans from portsmouth to Cherbourg Normandy for 29 pounds as a foot passenger - if you're going to this area of Normandy better than doing Chunnel which only goes to Calais-Frethun, Lille and Paris. Chunnel fares start at $90 in US pricing thru RailEurope - one way or round trip, with lots of restrictions.
