normandy

I'm arriving CDG in the morning for three days next week. Plan on Giverny and Caen, next day Bayeux and the beaches. The last day I want to see Honfleur and maybe up the coast. Are Etretat and Fecamp worth it or is Rouen a better stop on the way back ?

You'll have to move very quickly to cover all those spots in 3 days! I'd vote for Rouen for the last day, depending on what you want to see there.

I also agree that you might be trying to do to much. I did enjoy Etretat, we spent the night there.

The interest at Etretat are the needles that stick out of the cliffs. The interest at Fecamp is mainly the commercial visit of the Benedictine distillery. They are some way off the itinerary of the other sites.
Id suggest Giverny and Rouen on the way up to staying at Bayeux. The d day beaches on the next day and Bayeux and Caen on the other day on your way back.

Giverney and Rouen on the way to BAyeux? I don't think so!! 'way too much for that length of time. You "might" be able to do Giverney, pass through Rouen and stay the night in Honfleur, but you won't do any justice to Rouen, in particular. Honfleur to Bayeux, seeing some beaches on the way is possible. It's just not a very long time.
Caen? Are you going to try seeing the museum?
We found Rouen very interesting, but it might have to be the thing to go--among other things.
