No jeans?
Is this true for European travel?

France has many Jeans, as it is one of the most popular names.

They avoid HiHo and its alias, top, as they both mean "someone who's not as clever as he or his mother thinks he is".
|
of course it's not true. A lot of people wear jeans. If that is what you are comfortable in, while travelling, then wear them. I wore cords and jeans and no one shot me on the spot and no tickets from the fashion police..

This is really disheartening to me because I like Jean Nate after bath mist -- and now I'm told to leave it at home.

(troll!)
Dear XX

Not trying to be funny or even amusing..just my reaction to these people on here clogging up the board with such questions, and the ridiculous postings that follow
|
Then why have you CLOGGED up the boards with 3 stupid inquirys???
|
Everyone should just ignore his silly and stupid and arrogant way of questioning. Period!!!

Hello HiHo,
generally speaking, european in big, great cities are more fashion, formal than us north american-generally speaking. it's confortable to travel in jeans, t-shirt and Nikes but don't expect to be ¨hi-fashions¨with this in Paris,Rome' Barcelone etc. Personnally my designers (fancy) clothes stay here in Montreal when i go to Europe- but a lot of time i choose to don't go in trendy place because my traveller suit can provoque desapprobation regard. Wear your jeans, it's O.K. but be sure to look American Tourister.Except,if you wear a real Levis #501-only this one- who is very fashionable for europeans. But first, be confortable & yourself a travel cost a lot and it's time to relax not to give a fashion show!Bon Voyage!-)

Just back from three weeks in Europe. My wife commented about the fact that FEW people wear jeans there. Part of it might be the cost of Levi's, but part of it is that Europeans just don't dress as slobby as Americans typically do. (Her comment, not mine)
Glad to see this is still kicking around.
