No Destination Yet But...
 

I may possibly be able to take off a couple weeks around Christmas due to a possible career change. If I get the position, I want to take off for a week or two.

I am not looking for destination advice, just website suggestions. I have been to Europe about 20 times so just want to see if their are places I haven't been that have great last minute web sales. I will just wing it!

I don't have a destination in mind except possibly Hamburg to visit a friend. Weather isn't a concern for me so I don't need suggestions there.

What I DO want to know is what are the great websites for booking last minute fares?

I am especially interested in a site that I can put in my airport code and see what cities the airlines have huge last minute discounts for.

Any suggestions?

This is not much better than a partial answer... but I would recommend posting this same question on the Cheap Flights forum of www.eurotrip.com - - the main moderator there, Don, is on top of bargains like no source I have ever seen.
