Nikki's Paris Photos

I have just posted some photos from my trip to Paris last week. http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=...localeid=en_US

I will post a trip report later, just wanted to get the pictures up first.

Nikki. Lovely pictures. Come with me on my vacation to Mexico next week and take pictures for me!

Thanks for sharing... just what
the doctor ordered as I'm still shoulder deep in snow in Ontario!

Sher, it's a deal. I'm guessing the weather is better there too.

Of all your photos, I LOVE these the most!!!

Iregeo Mar 27th, 2008 09:01 PM

Beautiful, expressive pictures, Nikki. Can't wait to hear about my next apartment in Paris!

tod Mar 27th, 2008 10:25 PM

Now why can't I retrieve your photos?? Says Kodak Gallery not accessable?

tedgale Mar 27th, 2008 10:54 PM

Yes, I see it is still inaccessible "due to routine maintenance". So I too wait with bated breath.

Or "baited breath", as I see so often nowadays.

Considering I just got up (in Paris)and we consumed molto vino at dinner last night, the latter spelling may indeed be the more accurate.

Nice to see some of my favorite places so early in the morning.

Love that apartment...please post a link to it when you've time.

Really nice!

Rhea58 Mar 28th, 2008 01:52 AM

Wow - love 'em .. you illustrate
Paris so vividly...thanks!

Wonderful, Nikki. Those first two photos, the one taken through the window of a café and the one of the bar: did you take those at Café Sully, just around the corner from the apartment? Nice place, with a warm welcome. I had my first vin chaud there in 2006.

Wow Nikki! Can't wait to read your report and find out more about the fabulous places in your gorgeous photos!

Nikki Mar 28th, 2008 03:26 AM

Thanks all for the kind words.

Good eye, Anselm, you must have spent a good bit of time there to recognize the Cafe Sully. We had some welcome to Paris omelets there upon our arrival.

Tedgale, I'm not sure I'd want what you'd catch with that bait.

Here's a link to the apartment:

Hi Nikki, great photos. I am sooooo jealous. This March, for the first time in many years I did not go to Europe. And while my March trip, to Charleston, St Augustine and Savannah, was very nice, the whole time I kept comparing everything to just about anywhere in Europe and it just did not compete. I hope you had a good time. It looks like the flowers were out quite a bit this year.

TravelRibbon Mar 28th, 2008 03:46 AM

Nikki,

Amazing pictures! And just what I needed prior to my departure on Sunday.

Isabel, did you post photos from your trip down South? The flowers in Paris were just starting, I think that the rain we had all week is making the leaves start to pop.

Bon voyage, TR.

Thanks so much for the apt. link. I'm saving it for next year as I'm already committed on another place this year.

Love the area and the furnishings!

cynthia_booker Mar 28th, 2008 06:00 AM

Oh, my. Such beautiful photos.
Please don't take too long to post the trip report. I am surely not the only one who wants every detail.

Bree Mar 28th, 2008 06:34 AM

Lovely pictures. I especially like the interior of the Theatre des Champs Elysees, which I don't think I had ever seen before.

Looking forward to your trip report -- they're always a treat to read.
