Night spots in Spain

Hello! We will be in Andalucia (Marbella, Seville and Granada) from March 18-23. Does anyone have any good suggestions for jazz clubs or places with an interesting mix of people? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!

You can do a little research on the following web sites:

Are you going to Spain for jazz?
Spain isn't the best place for it. You'll get thousands of things to do and see, but jazz??

Hope you'll enjoy your trip and the Easter in Andalucia

I don't know josemacall, San Sebastian-Donostia, Bilbao (Getxo) and Vitoria have three great Jazz festivals during the summer. I take it you've never been before?

Yep Robert, I know. But that is in the very north, and Andalucia is not as "modern".

Well, in Galapagar, my hometown, north of Madrid, there is another Jazz festival: el GalapaJazz.

In the southern Andalucia, maybe you'll get better choices in Gypsy mixes or even Muslim ones.

sevilla.. "la carboneria" for a mix of piano, guitar and flamenco in separate rooms.

Check out Time Out Andalusia OR Hanging Out in Spain guidebooks. They're my indispensible guides to nightlife, and both have good descriptions of the clubs, the crowds they attract and the costs etc.
