Nice via Genoa to Cinque Terre by train
 

Any thoughts on getting from Nice to Monterosso? It takes about 5 hours by train with a connection in Genoa. I'm thinking of the train that leaves Nice at 10:01. But with some two dozen stops,it seems that there should be a better way. Has anyone taken this route?
