Nice to Luberon
 

On a Saturday in May, my husband and I will be leaving from Nice airport for Lioux in Luberon. We will have spent 2 days in Nice. I am trying to decide which route to take. The A8 is most direct but of course not scenic. I am thinking of taking the route via Grasse and Draguignan. On the way back to Nice we are stopping for the night in Moustiers Sainte Marie so I don't want to go that route on our first day of driving. I am hoping for some wise counsel as to which direction ( literally) to go. We pick up the car at 10AM and have dinner reservations in Gordes at 7PM. Thank you.

The route we've taken many times is in my attached itinerary. It goes through Fayance. We're not fans of Grasse or Draguignan. Little too grungy - compared to other villages.
