Nice to Cinque terre?
 

We are doing 2 weeks in April - want to travel from Nice area to C-T and Venice - by car. (we have been to south of france before and are familiar with the roads - but have not been between Nice and C-T. Suggestions for base hotel (for 3 people) in Nice area and suggestion for base hotel in Italian coast area - for day trips? Thanks in advance.

Let me know where your staying in nice...i will be going in June. The albert 1 looked preety nice. After awhile you start to go stir crazy looking at all these hotels!

We stayed at the Boscolo Plaza hotel in Nice. Great location...close to Old Town restaurants and market. Easy to get in/out of Nice. Have heard/read great things about Hotel Le Grimaldi as well.

I checked out the Boscolo Plaza Hotel-Very Expensive! 480 euro's! A little steep for my taste-very nice though. Hotel Grimaldi also looked nice and affordable. Thanks!
