Nice to Barcelona...

What is the best way to get from Nice to Barcelona? I'm a rookie in this part of the globe, any insights would be appreciated. I cant seem to find any direct flights (connect through London), etc.

Iberia has direct flights on that route.

I was on their site... I didnt see an origin for Nice.

A subsidary of Iberia has a flight between Nice and Barcelona. We flew it two years ago. ( I can't remember the name!)

Check with your transatlantic carrier to see if they can tack it onto your original ticket. We did it thihs way through American's ONEWORLD program, and saved hundreds of dollars on the flight.

If you book the flight by itself, you will pay a fortune for it!

To see an origin from Nice...you have to go the French site. www.iberia.fr

Thanks guys... you are right... beaucoup bucks to fly out of the blue. How bad is the train ride? Never traveled by night...

The train ride is very long! I seem to remember it's about 12 hours with lots of stops.

Have you booked your transatlantic flight from the States yet? If not, call the carrier and ask about adding the Nice-Barcelona flight to your ticket. Most carriers have or had (?) programs that allow this.( As I mentioned, we did it through American's ONEWORLD program.) You will save megabucks this way. We did!

Arios,

When are you flying? A one way is like 5 times the cost of a round trip. I saw roundtrips for about 130 Euros.
