Nice Restaurant Recommendations
 

We're staying near Nice now (Villefranche) and would like to eat at one of the "old town" restaurants tomorrow night. Anyone have a recommendation?

Budget?

Atmosphere?

Le Chat Blanc LeChatNoir is in a few streets from Cours Salyea. We enjoyed it so much that we returned a second night. We learned about it from a NYT article and were glad we found it.
A very good seafood restaurant next to Cours Salyea is Chez Freddy. It is nothing like the touristy restaurants surrounding it.
I have a list of excellent restaurants in less touristed parts of Nice if you're interested.
