nice overnight place near fontenay
 

Hotels and B&Bs are rare near the Abbaye de Fontenay in Burgundy. Any very good ones to recommend for one night? We will already have visited Vezelay that same day, so won't backtrack in that direction. (Preference would be for one in the direction of Beaune or Semur en Auxois.)

And you believ everything tripadvisor says? It was the best dinner we had in our 2 week canal trip to Burgundy.

Great to know re dinner. It's about the rooms (for overnight). I definitely wouldn't believe just one or two gripes, but there is quite a list going back quite a while, and up to recent dates.
