Nice on Sunday?

I will be in Nice on a Sunday in Nov. for 1 day. Any suggestions what to do?

Thanks

What kinds of things interest you--museums, churches, markets and other shopping?

With just one day I'd suggest a ramble through Vieux Nice and the Cours Saléya, then along the Promenade des Anglais (weather permitting. You could have a meal at the Café du Turin, which specializes in seafood, and then visit the modern-art museum nearby. Given the short daylight hours in November that's probably about it.

We do museums and love to sit around outdoor cafe's and people watch. We have stayed near Nice in the past, but couldn't remember about Sunday's.

Bad on Mondays?

At least some museums should be open on Sunday. Visiting those and then spending time around the Cours Saléya should take care of your one day nicely.
