Nice Hotels with adjoining rooms or suites in italy
We are traveling to Italy in July. We are looking for hotels in Florence, Tuscany, Lake region and Venice that have 2 adjoining rooms or a suite with two separate sleeping areas.
Can anyone recommend hotels like this? If not, can you recommend a way to find this out? I am emailing hotels individually, but it is slow going and I have not had any responses yet.
Price range - $200 -$500 per night.
Thanks!

In Tuscany (just outside of Montalcino) there is an agriturismo (La Crociona, http://www.lacrociona.com/)that has a two bedroom apartment that fits your requirements except for price, it's less expensive. If you want more info feel free to e-mail me [email protected]

For Venice try www.venere.com for multiple hotels. Also try www.sinahotels.com which has a lovely newish hotel in Venice (Sant Angelo) & I think also has one in Florence. Also try Starwood hotel chain.

In the Lake region, we stayed in Stresa, on Lago Maggiore at the Hotel La Palma, which is lakeside. It offers connecting rooms/and or suites. Rooms start at about $225.00 per room/night. We opted not to stay in Venice proper, isntead stayed out on the Lido at a small four-star, Quattro Fontane, which offers adjoining/and or connecting rooms. Again, rooms were about $225.oo per room/night. The Quattro Fontane is about a ten minute walk to the vaporetto stop for St. Mark's Square. We enjoyed the Lido and having the option to escape the crowds in Venice. Good luck!
