Nice hotel recommendations?

...for around 100 euros? Thanks!

Oh there is a great hotel that is about 80 euros on that street around the corner from the chuch across from the bistro. It so nice but the bed are a bit hard and towels a bit worn.

I suspect richard was being funny because he thought you didn't tell us where you are talking about, failing to realize that NICE is a city in France, not just an adjective describing the type of hotel you want.

Sorry, I don't know any in that price range.

Oh yeah, I am a riot!

So it's Nice as the city. Then you could try the following site :

http://www.eurocheapo.com/nice/

e.g. We stayed at Hotel Acanthe last Ocotber for two nights. No fancy amenities at this 1 star hotel but conveniently located, the reception girl was helpful, saw her giving informations in good English to a British guest. I got all I had expected from this 1 star hotel for the price of EUR50.00 per night, a rotonde room with a nice park/fountain view, clean room & bed, very simple but functional bathroom, but no hair dryer, no mini-bar. I think there was a TV but I'm not sure. Our room was on the 5th floor but there was a (typical) small elevator large enough for 2 persons with 2 suite cases. If this 1 star hotel is too cheap for you, the eurocheapo site has 1-3 star hotels listed.

The Hotel Flots d'Azur right on Promenade des Anglais. It's a 2-star, so definitely no mini-bar or hair-dryer, but the rooms have ensuite baths, and the rates are reasonable, the staff helpful.

Bon Voyage,
