Hey,

I'm planning to travel to France this time for Avignon theatre festival in July, we'd love to stay for a few weeks so we need to find a nice hotel, but not too expensive. Does anyone know?

Please give links at the same time so i can make the reservation, it's quite urgent. Thank you.

I think you may have left it late to find what you're looking for this year.

Kerouac, who posts on here, often goes to the festival. I believe he stays in villages in the area and buses in. That might be a good option.

We also stayed at the Hotel Palais des Papes the last time we were in Avignon and liked it very much. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant. However, if you plan to stay in Avignon for a few weeks, an apartment might be a better option for at least most of your stay.

We loved our stay just outside of Avignon at Auberge de Cassagne. Excellent on site restaurant and easy drive to Avignon. Not sure about the price as it was a few years ago.
