Nice Hotel
 

Have to fine a place for one night as we leave for airport in morning. Looking for a 3 or 4 star hotel. Is there any particular area of Nice that we should be looking for. Closer to airport, etc.

Novotel is quite nice and has a free shuttle bus to and from Nice airport. Its restaurant is pretty good too.

last year we used priceline for a 4* in nice and got the sofitel for $91. it was a 10 or so minute walk from the old town and about a 10 min drive from the airport. the room was wonderful and the beds were out of this world. for the price, it couldn't be beat.

Many if not most of the hotels in Nice are no more than a 15 min. drive from the airport, depending on time of day. Check out Hotel Grimaldi, Hotel West End, and Hotel Suisse. Good luck!

Stayed at the Hotel Splendid, just a short taxi ride from the train station with a rooftop bar and nice views down toward the beach. Easy walk to the bus stop to the Chagall museum which I loved.

The Novotel is ideal--just across the boulevard from the airport. You can walk or take the hotel's shuttle.
