Nice, France at Christmas time

I am thinking about travelling to Nice next Christmas. Does anyone know what it's like at that time of year?

No, but I do hear that the Alsace region of France (Strasbourg), and into the Black Forest area (Freiburg) of Germany has great Christmas markets in Dec.

Hi

I have visited Nice around Xmas a few times.
Sunny days, warm enough for Tshirts in the afternoon, a little chilly at night.

Check 21 years weather history at -

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/weather/longterm/historical/data/nice_france.htm

Peter
We have been to Nice many times right after the New Year. The weather tends to be cold (though we're from Florida) but sunny--generally 50's during the day, and the nights can get cold.

What we like best is that the town is not overrun with tourists. New Year's Eve is a big celebration.
